Ancient Town Scenic Night Tour Lighting

Project Background

To enhance night tour appeal and activate the night economy, the ancient town launched a night tour lighting upgrade aiming for a new tourism experience of "scenery by day, lights by night".

Combining the town's history and architecture, we provided integrated services from night tour planning and lighting design to fabrication and commissioning.

Design Philosophy

The design uses warm tones to restore stilted buildings and arch bridges, with red lanterns reflected in the water and laser projection and interactive installations telling local stories for a dreamy night tour atmosphere.

Implementation

1. Ancient architecture outline lighting with warm lights; 2. Atmosphere lighting with lanterns and street flood lights; 3. Interactive installations with laser projection and sensors; 4. Smart control with weekday and festival modes.

Project Results

After completion, night visitor numbers grew significantly and stays were notably extended, driving nearby dining and accommodation and making it a new name card for local night tourism.
